The economy of dairy production relies on the reproductive performance of the herd. Therefore knowledge of the factors influencing reproduction is of great importance for appraising genetic and phenotypic parameters and predicting the breeding value of animals. Furthermore, it may help in devising management practices and thereof, in maximizing production. Keeping these points in view, the present study was undertaken to examine the effects of period, season of calving and parity on reproduction characters of Hariana cattle.
