Genetic parameters for egg quality traits were estimated using REML procedures and animal model. From 110 hens at 32 weeks of age with known pedigree, 220 eggs (2 eggs from each hen) were collected for measuring egg weight (EW), yolk weight (YW), albumen weight (AW), shell thickness (ST) and shell strength (SS).
